Our New Photo Contest, Caught in the Moment, starts in March 2011!

This year's contest will be all about sharing your special wildlife moments. Whether it's birds in your backyard, the lucky bear shot on the side of the road or the mountain climber capturing the goat, we want to see your best wildlife shots. The only stipulation is that the shot must be of a wild animal, mammal, fish, or bird and be taken by an amateur photographer. We had some great shots from the younger generation last year and we hope to inspire more children and teenagers to send us their special photos. This year the three categories will be based solely on age which are as follows:

Adult: Anyone that is 21 or older.

Youth: Anyone between the ages of 12 and 20.

Children: Anyone under the age of 12.

ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to legal residents of Canada and the U.S., except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) or agents of Gower Media Group Inc., their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges. Entrants 13 years of age or younger must have consent from their parent or legal guardian to enter this contest. In the event it is discovered that you entered without consent from your parent or legal guardian, all entries will be void.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: You must have taken the Photo that you submit for the contest. You will require the consent of all individuals who are included in the Photo. The submitted Photo must never have been previously published, exhibited publicly, or selected as a winner in any other contest and only amateur photographers are eligible (defined as a person who has never earned more than $1,000 in any year for photography). All Photos submitted become the property of Gower Media Group Inc. Entries not complying with these contest rules will be disqualified.
